Present Cadre of the Department of the Legal Draftsman
(With particular reference to the Draftsman)

Over the years the cadre of draftsmen of the Department has been increased in order to meet the legislative needs of the country. Presently the cadre consists of the Legal Draftsman, the additional Legal Draftsman, 5 Deputy Legal Draftsman, 8 Senior Assistant Legal Draftsman and 20 Assistant Legal Draftsman. There is a total cadre 147 persons in the Department inclusive of support staff of the Translations Branches, the Publication Branches, the General Office (Clerical Officers), the Photocopy Machine Operators, the Binders, the Peons and the Delivery boys.
